At Birmingham Cocktail Weekend 2025, Medicine Bakery at The Mailbox had a moment to remember when we were announced as the winners of the highly coveted ‘Best Cocktail’ award!
Our Bakewell Tartini captured the hearts and taste buds of festival-goers from the very first sip. A sumptuous blend of Silent Pool Gin, Amaretto, cherry liqueur, cherry and cranberry juices, and a touch of vanilla, finished with a delicate sliver of Bakewell Tart.
Months of careful experimentation and tasting had gone into perfecting this creation, and seeing it celebrated by the public through the vote made all the effort worthwhile. The cocktail stood out not only for its flavour but also for its presentation and originality, setting a high bar in a festival full of incredible talent. Being selected by the public adds an extra layer of pride, knowing that festival-goers themselves chose our cocktail as the very best!
It’s a proud moment for our team and a reminder of why we love crafting cocktails that surprise, inspire, and bring people together.
